Power: A 9 ft AC adapter cable and a 5.5 ft outdoor power cable are included and required to power the Outdoor Camera.

Wi-Fi: 2.4 or 5 GHz. Note: our cameras use your Wi-Fi to transmit data so the quality can depend on your bandwidth. Each Frontpoint camera can use up to 2 Mbps each; please make sure your bandwidth will support the number of cameras you plan to add. You can measure your internet speed here: www.speedtest.net. We recommend an upload of at least 5 Mbps for one camera to account for the other devices in the home as well, such as your phone, laptop, TV, etc.

Installation Tips

Easily add your camera to your system using the Frontpoint mobile app, then use the included template and screws to mount your camera.

Requirements for Installation and Mounting:

1. What’s the difference between the Outdoor Camera and the Premium Floodlight Camera?

Both cameras offer visibility into your outdoor space with plenty of other capabilities. While you can’t go wrong with either option, the Premium Floodlight Camera has a higher resolution paired with the next level of protection and automation.

Because of its powerful siren and built-in floodlights, Perimeter Guard ™ smart intruder-deterrence can be more effective with the Premium Floodlight Camera. The Premium Floodlight Camera also has motion-activated floodlights that will brighten when someone approaches, when manually controlled through the Frontpoint app or website, or even on a schedule or prompt of your choosing.
